Baldie Helmets!!

Cute Helmets for our Tiny Baldies.  They will fit bald Pukies & Lati Whites :)

Made in a high quality Alpaca wool, they don't stretch too much so they will not fit if your little one is wearing a wig.

I made these sets to celebrate the upcoming arrival of 'your' Bug(s). :)

More sets to come -also bright colours- and soon on the E-place.

Poofy Pants are handsewn in high quality cotton fabric (Liberty of London).  Helmets are done in Egyptian shiny Cotton and have handsculpted polymere antlers, chinstrap with loop and bead for closure.

Poofy Pants...

... and Helmets... none of these are 'finished'... I have to add 'stuff' to create the final 'look' but most of the work is done.  These are made for the Bugs and their siblings and I will put up lots of bright colours and some subtile colours too. :)

I will post more pictures and details soon.

My hand and wrist are much better. Still a little stiff and some movements are more difficult than others but overall I'm happy.  I can sew again... I can do most of my work in the house... the wound is ALMOST healed and the numbness and tingling are COMPLETELY gone... 

Life is good!

Liberty of London & Pretty shiny cotton thread.

It's still too soon to sew, but... I can crochet! I CAN CROCHET!!!!

I can't find the right words to explain how happy I am to be able to hold my crochet hook without much pain. And the numbness and tingling is gone.  My hand and wrist is still a little stiff and sometimes I feel a little pain from the wound itself because it's not 100% healed yet.  But the future is looking good, YAY!

I made some helmets... it's going to be a 'new look' and I already picked some pretty Liberty fabrics to make something to go with the helmets.  I made a new pattern, so I'm ready to get started! 

I only have to find my big old bag of patience... I know I have it lying around... somewhere.

Baldies.

Recently I've bought a bunch of Puki wigs.  All trial and errors.  I think I bought 5 or 6 wigs to throw in the bin, and I'm not kidding.  I can't believe people keep selling wigs that are useless and there's no one complaining about it in the open.  Most of those bin-wigs I bought on the *Bay.  The pictures 'they' are using are cute, the wigs on de dolls look fine... but if you try them on YOUR doll, -that happens to be the same doll they are using in their auction pictures- it's a totally different thing. Plain crap, pardon my french. You might as well throw your money in the bin and save all the trouble.

On a more positive note... I've managed to buy 5 excellent, beautiful, cute little Puki wigs, secondhand from Flickr members. YAY!  Really good quality and pretty little wigs with an excellent fit, so I'm happy. But. Oh dear... here's a but.  I love my Pukis BALD in their little crochet hats or with a headband. I wrote it before... I'm crazy, I really am. But who could resist this cute little baldie. Right! No question mark.

Bug Hats Galore!

All hats are the same, the same pattern, the same amount of tiny stitches, the same quality of cotton thread, they each have a tiny heart shaped button.

See second picture mosaïc, it's the same apple green hat in each shot:

you can pull it tighter over the ears, tie it in front, tie it in the back, manipulate the little antennas... and so on.  So... all different looks depending on how you use it.

One hat, so many different looks.
